Spring is in the air!


Hello, friends!
All of us chickens, pigs, ducks and cattle are really enjoying the mild temperatures and all the vegetation in bloom! We hope you are as well!
This week we were busy making Mild Chicken Italian Artisan Link Sausages as well as a fresh batch of our Poultry Breakfast Sausage (no pork just chicken, duck, turkey and duck fat with our mild breakfast sausage seasoning.
The new favorite of the kitchen staff is the new Bangers Artisan Link Sausages and of course the ever popular Spring Onion made with the new wild onion sprouts here at the farm.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday at the Richland Park Farmers Market from 10:00-12:00!

Spring Onion back plus Bangers Sausage Links!


Hi, friends! We are excited to let you know that we made a new recipe, delicious Traditional British/Irish sausages Artisan Link Sausage called “Bangers”. We also found enough wild spring onions at the farm to make a fresh batch of our wildly popular, Spring Onion Artisan Link Sausage.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Richland Park Farmers’ Market from 10:00 – 12:00.

Hello, friends! We are so excited to inform you that we have Premium, 100% GRASS FED BEEF for you this week!
Filets, Ribeyes, New York Strips, Brisket, Tri-Tips, Flank, Chuck Roasts, Flat Iron, Sirloins, Short Ribs and Round Roasts are all in stock for now.
We also have Ground Beef and our signature Butcher’s Blend available as well as beef bones for making broth.

Hi there, Wedge Oak Farm friends! Just a quick note to let you know that our locallygrown.net online farmers’ market is now open.
This week we’ve made a fresh batch of our rich & delicious Brats and Nashville Hot Chicken Artisan Link Sausages as well as a new batch of our traditional Medium Breakfast Sausage chubs.
Please place your order for pickup this upcoming Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Richland Park Farmers Market between 10:00 -12:00.

Hello WOF shopper,
We are offering online preorders as requested by many.

Please take a look and see if there is something you want to have on your home menu to start the year . We have cuts, whole ducks and chicken, beef cut, and pork available too.
The layer ducks are still on hiatus as they have not liked the lack of items to forage in their daily wanderings around the farm. The cold took care of many of the favorite treats they find in the pastures. We will get them listed online when the duck hens pick back up.
The chickens are still laying relatively well. Don’t forget to get your* chicken eggs*…

Sausages- all the breakfast sausage you like. Poultry, medium pork, extra sage pork and hot pork breakfast.
Sausage Links abound as well, and our bacon cheddar is available again!

We have sliced our delicious smoked bacon, and added another batch of ground pork.

We are also excited to announce that our retail store at the farm will be open for business starting Monday, January 16th from 10-2 and then again on Friday from 10-6!

Check out the online market.
We will close it Friday morning at 10 AM. Take a look and see if there is something that you would like awaiting you Saturday at Richland Park.
