Fall has arrived and we are grateful for the lovely weather the past few days. There is nothing like a good meal to soothe the soul and offer the body an enjoyable energy source. We are here to help!

Please look at our offerings this week as we are happy to bring you the beef, pork, chicken, turkey and duck you love. We have chicken eggs, bacon and sausage too.

Remember to get some Extra Sage, Hot, and Medium breakfast sausage for you holiday meals.

Good morning,
We will be at Richland Park Farmers Market this weekend and would love to bring you an order of meat and eggs. The ducks are laying very little but the chicken hens are on the job. We have placed them on the market and will have some at the Saturday market too.

Check out our 35 day dry aged beef. We love these cuts and hope you will take an opportuntty to try something very special.

Eggs Listed- The duck are still laying low. Seriously, The egg count is down when we go for daily collection. We have 15 hens that should start laying in December, and we hope this lovely weather will get them back on track.

Numerous beef cuts added this week as we have been diligently been pushing along in the kitchen with divine grass fed beef cuts.

Heritage pork is available too. Don’t forget to stop by Saturday and fill out a Thanksgiving Turkey Flyer. You can also email us for one sent directly to you.

What lovely weather we are having. Wedge Oak Farm is thrilled to get roasting… Some of our favorites are whole chicken, chuck roasts and pork roasts too.
You can do a hands off crock pot dish or braise in the oven for a tender and crispy skin.

Roasted Poultry Stock and Beef Stock are a great way to start a stew or soup. You can still make the best homemade Tomato Soup starting with a stock, an onion, and a bit of garlic. Flavor it with a touch of fresh basil from the garden or some curry powder to send the flavor in another direction. A blender will puree and so will the food processor. Yum!

Our sausages are easy and on the menu this week. We have chicken, beef, duck and pork link sausages in a variety to suit every palate.

You have been asking for duck eggs and we hear you. There is a pesky owl that likes our ducks as much as we do. Our layers are being traumatized nightly and are holding the eggs back due to stress. We have a second set of layers that are due to lay the first of 2021 but that is still a ways off. We hate this situation and are trying to remedy it with solar lights and bird of prey decoys.

We have added eggs to the list and wonder if you might like some other farm raised foods to get you through the week.

Please note that we are taking Turkey reservations for the Thanksgiving Holiday 2020 and will have reservation forms at Richland park Farmers market this weekend for your to complete. The deposit is $50.00 per bird.

We are loaded with beef and chicken cuts including boneless breasts and nice 100% grassfed and finished steaks.

Sausages abound.

Do not forget to order your farm raised meats for the week. We are pleased that you shop with us and look forward to seeing you Saturday!

*Pasture Chicken- *try a half chicken on the grill or a whole to roast in the oven. So delicious when raised outdoors!

Eggs- the counts are a bit low. so we left them off the preorders for the week. Come early this Saturday for our eggs as we generally sell out.
Pullet- young hens just starting to lay $5 per doz
Hen eggs- $7 per dozen freshly laid
Duck Eggs- $9 per dozen, limited quantities till fall
