Wedge Oak Farm is a Tennessee state designated Century Farm in Middle Tennessee located 30 miles east of Nashville. This land was purchased by my great grandparents, Ida New and William Madison Turner, in 1904. The farm has been cared for and worked by family since.
In 2008 Karen Overton began farming here with the intent of continuing the land use of the previous generations on this family farm.Utilizing natural, organic , and regenerative methods we wish to take care of the land as well as our livestock. We raise chickens and ducks for eggs and poultry, pork, beef and lamb for meat. Our beef and lambs are grassfed. Our ducks all free range during the day and out meat and layer chickens are raised on pasture.
In 2014 Karen became certified to butcher and make our own sausages and value added products, and in 2016 built an inspected commercial kitchen on the farm. Along the way we have added numerous sausages and delicious offerings to our available product list. Check Out our site for descriptions!
